Tryg Strand is a Canadian singer-songwriter whose music feels like home but moves like the open road.

Raised in the Canadian Rockies, Tryg split his early years between hockey rinks, ski hills, and a household where music-making something to escape into rather than pursue. That changed while attending the University of Guelph on a hockey scholarship, when he picked up a guitar more, started refining his song writing songs, and never looked back.

Rooted at the crossroads of folk, blues, country, and rock, Tryg Strand crafts songs that are raw, soulful, and instantly engaging. His voice commands attention... warm, weathered, and honest, carrying stories that feel lived-in and real. Whether performing solo or fronting Tryg Strand & The Band, his shows invite movement and connection, blending heartfelt storytelling with upbeat, foot-stomping energy.

Tryg has quickly built momentum on stages across Western Canada, performing at major festivals and events including Radius Rhythms & Riffs, Snowflake Festival, North Star Days, Flats Fest, Hopkins Harvest, and Steamboat Mountain Music Festival,
